IN SILENCE NAMED

IN SILENCE NAMEDI feel the chillOf a coming Winter stormMy Spirit falters at each stepI take
My SoulIn silence namedDoes not speak anymoreTime suddenlyHas caught me in medias resNo place to hideNo  choices madeNo road to follow
I’ve missed something on the wayLost in “things” of every   dayOnceI was a flame bold and strongBringing daylight into nightSoothsayer of others’ fearsGatherer of their t earsThe one who stayed behindTo take their last breath in mine
Now I am smokeFading slowly in the airA flame no longer thereSeeking my place in InfinityNo one left to take my breath

From the flame fire, from

From the flame fire, from the fire flame... sooner or later it's the burning that remains. Love you, Joe. Thank you for your presence. ~A Words must be used like stepping stones: lightly and with nimbleness, because if you step on them too heavily, you incur the danger of falling into the intellectual mire of logic and reason. - Balsekar

smoke/mists/shrouded phantasm fog~

I was lucky before I became city tended to see on a feild curve on gravel stretch with poles dotting the sky climbing high the green deep face of storm and behind the light of something else the mists rising from the air like a curling wave like an upside down waterfall pulling up towards the clouds a paper rolling up towards us sitting watching Door open chime ringing softly engine ticking to itself and tail lights hot impatient glow the cool brush as it rolled past us the defined reason of it so fresh the rare phenomenon moment preserved but for the day and recalled here by your gracious and thought imbued poetry Thank you Mr Longo Esker~

Dearest Joe

Wonderfully written and I too are pleased to see you on these pages again. You are special and you still do some of the above you mention in your poem, you just do not realize it. I see you as a bold strong man, or should I say, read you. I am always checking and here you are dear friend. Thank you. XX

My soul in silence named

Ann of Norway How beautiful is that,"My soul in silence named," its sound and meaning so intense. You instil the stillness of contemplation a revelation of deeper thoughts reveal themselves like flames kindled they leap up and fill our minds with colours some blue and sad, some red, some new, some green refreshing dreams we've near forgotten resurrected there so vivid, yet with touch scares our spirits from their bliss and make us miss them in our melancholy state; we thank you for your soulful pen, your thoughts and feelings shared with us, your friends, who know and understand. And when the mists descend your words uplift our minds to find each our joy of the moment parallel to our pains and give us spirit to go on to understand ourselves. Joe of the sensitive mind with the big heart and the melancholy words that enlighten and give us all hope that we too will be so stoic when our time comes to face pain. Annuccia "My soul in silence named" without looking at the title was the bit I too savoured the most here, they have something uncanny about them, those words?
