"Comfort in Rain"
The rain is such a sudden comfort to me,
For it's the tears of pain hidden in my dreams
I hide from the water that falls from my eyes,
Given myself a smile, a cheap disguise.
Fall
Pour
Fast
Hard
I
just
want
to feel…
The rain, rain drenches me as I stand alone
Enticing, rich, the comfort of feeling the cold.
But warmth, warmth comes an rain nurtures my soul.
The tears are built up inside, the burden takes a toll
I
allow
one
single tear…
And sure enough the sun follows the shower
She dry's the rain and instills power.
Rain becomes a reminder of the pain
She is the reminder that beauty is left to gain.
Rain comes and cries for my soul, my song of life
The tears are no longer a stranger to me, I sit
I am not afraid to cry…
