I'm sorry for the times we did not get to speak
I'm sorry for the times we did not  go out to eat

I'm sorry for all the lost times you surely missed
For that time I can't make up so I send you this one kiss

You're the sun in my coffee
The apple in my eyes
The cream in my donuts
Let me tell you, my son, why


You know mom does the best she can
Always and Forever, I'm here to hold your hand
There for you, forever this way
I love you so much, I just have to say

I'll only tell you this son,  as often as I do
Just how much you truly mean to me too
The love I hold for you, my loving son
Was touched by an angel when your life begun

Please always remember, this one special thing
You're my precious, my love, my everything

I'm always here for you, always remember this and know
Just wanted to tell you, how much I love you so..

Lovely dedication Magic. We so often make mistakes, miss out on precious moments because life gets in the way, with those we love. We so often forget to tell them how much they mean to us. My greatest heartache when I lost my son was that I felt I hadn't told him often enough how much I cared for him. Your son is lucky, he'll have this poem to hold forever. lol Judy

Thank you so much and yes there has been many times when Mom had to go to work but my son knows without me working all these years we would not have this home we sleep in. He is so much a part of me and I also share with you your loss of your son, so sad, someday you may share. He is with you many a moment right beside you leading the way. Back to him someday. Thank you my Indi friend from Michigan

Yes my son knows how much I love him so. There where times when he was young that I was ill and he was ill and I had to work and juggle all of it alone, so proud of him my son and thankful he understands how mom now loves to write. It is in my for good now as I write fom the heart, mind body and soul. For there is where your story is told. Love you Indi, brother in Christ forever and a day, my true friend here. Yes love means you never have to say your sorry but sometimes it heals alot of pains and sorrow, I love my son and he is the gift that was given to me on Christmas Eve at 5 pm 12.24.92. I know he will be grown all up some day and leave me in this big house and then I don't know what I will do here alone. Maybe I wont be afterall. Magics02 "Determination Brings Success"

I Love this piece and let me tell you, Joey is soo lucky to have a mom like you. My mom is nothing like you, and I'd be happy to have you as my mother. Joey loves you a lot, and you talk to him about lots of things and I'm sure he appreciates all you have done for him and what you will continue to do. Being a mother is hard, I know. You just want the best for your kids and when you feel like you havn't done the best you can, you really wish you could make it up to them. But Joey loves you, and I'm sure he always will no matter what, his father isn't around, but you've done an awesome job with Joey all by yourself. SO I'm just gonna tell you, don't ever leave Joey. He needs you, like I'd love to have my mother, but she doesn't care. No matter how much Joey may tell you to leave him alone for a little while, or if he curses and you don't like it, if he does something terrible, always tell him you Love him. Cause that's what he'll need the most. Support from his favorite person. And that's you. Dani (:

What a beautiful pen, Mona. I lovely tribute to your son. It is well written and obviously it comes from the heart, raw emotion always shines through. It flows beautifully. Not much more I can add that others haven't already said. **Smiles and **Hugs** coming to you my friend. :-) Also, you now have a friend in Michigan and one that was born and raised in Michigan. for visiting me again and yes this one I wrote just how I feel about my son he is my shining knight and always will be. I finally found him a job at the Italian Bistro and boy am I happy for now he can buy what he wants, pay for this own gas etc.lol I hope your doing okay dear friend. Beautiful

thats really beautiful, too often I find that people lose sight of the love and concept of family. Haha a job is a beautiful thing as well, I'm sure pocket book is shining a little brighter :). Spoken word..... thing is I get so nervous, I can get the right feeling in my head and hear it the way I would want it to sound, but when I open my mouth for the words to come out it just doesn't go as smoothly as I would like. But isn't that just the way that it goes. haha well I wish you nothing but good things. Hope all is well with you. <3Eyez
