LULLABIES--rewritten

LULLABIES

You all went on

 I stayed behind

Years  flew by

I stood still

In Time

Drying tears

Soothing fears

Holding a hand  at life's end

She was the child I never had

As insanity came crashing down

To steal her reality

Turn dreams into nightmares.

Silent cries of a child

Whimperings of a pain

Never understood

A mind betrayed

Innocence forsaken

No mercy in God's grace

Chants of the holy  rosary

To lull into sleep.

Vomit , diapers

Lullabies

Fairy  tales and comforting lies

Terror come to both of us

Find ways to make it better

But the cradle falls.

I wish I never knew

Never saw

I wish the memory would

Leave me now

So I could

Go my way

In peace somehow…

Dear Longobardolino

Ann of Norway God bless her, God bless you if there is a God. The blessing was that you were there for your mother, she may not have shown it much but múst have known deep down where her inner sensations told her you never left her and never will. May all those in pain feel blessed in such a manner, Annuccia.

A sad truth...

We all have to face the world in it's goodness and the downfalls of life on earth. So very well written and expressed. Rosina xena465
