Die Götterdȁmmerung: Twilight of the gods-revised
Die Götterdȁmmerung: Twilight of the gods
Twilight falls for everyone
The gods themselves knew moratality
Fading unwillingly into mystery.
In Vallhala's Halls they all stand
Waiting for that suspension of disbelief
To live only for a brief time
Again
There is a beginning and an end
To all things
And a beginning to every end.
The earth still sings
Without us
Its song of life and death
And with each living breath
We cling to the light of day
Until we pass on
To go a different way.
Out of Earth’s womb painfully we cry
Bursting through to another place
To die and live again
…
