CHLOE !--edited

CHLOE  ! The bloom has not yet left the roseSweet flower of magic dreamsI hear your songChloeAnd listen carefullyTo  silent melodies you playThe lyrics you don’t singThe words you do not sayThe things you do not wantUs to know Chloe ! Wake from night’s illusionSeeThe eternity of each living day Chloe! Life always finds a waySing your songs againTwilight will soon fallFor all of usIt isn’t yet timeFor you to sleepChloeSweet flower of magic dreams

YES now its awesome

Dear magnanimous wonderful friend, Longobardolino, An elegance and sincerity of the sentiments, enhanced by the quality of language, the aesthetic quality too, make this so beautiful. I love the dropping down from line to line, you have made it into a slow dance, resembling that of the fall of petals from a flower, or the descending notes of a melody of music dropping, dropping, dropping, to the beautiful ending, You special man Annuccia

J.B. Longo-Geremia fROM THE HEART. Jayne, la st week as I was putting pots nd pans a way, I lst my balance and for the frst time n three years I h ad this disease, I took a bad fa ll and slammed the side of my head against the tile floor. I got up and after a litany of curses, I finished doing what I had begun. I ignore my disease and live as though I didn't have it. I am lmited yes, but, Jayne, the point is, try to minimize what is after you the center of your life as I had done for some time. Ignre the "Beast" and live on in spite of It. I look at PArkinson's as another unfortunate event n my life-like taxes ... And the taxes will do me in first. Love f rom Joe

I read your reply to Jayne and I cringed. You are strong but PLEASE be careful. Ooh, butterflies in the guts. Change of subject, I love this poem, it is like a song, and as Ann said, Awesome. I am a bit slow you know, who is Chloe? Yeah, I know, the light is not on in the upstairs compartment, so you will have to fill me in. Apart from that stupid question, I loved all. Love an take damn care. Lyz. XX

I read. I weep. I sing

I read. I weep. I sing your Chloe. Walt Whitman ~ Blades of Grass ~ 19 I sing the body electric... stanza 1 1 I SING the Body electric; The armies of those I love engirth me, and I engirth them; They will not let me off till I go with them, respond to them, And discorrupt them, and charge them full with the charge of the Soul. Was it doubted that those who corrupt their own bodies conceal themselves; And if those who defile the living are as bad as they who defile the dead? And if the body does not do as much as the Soul? And if the body were not the Soul, what is the Soul? http://www.bartleby.com/142/index2.html

You know, life is hard, not

You know, life is hard, not only your head, Joe. A couple of weeks ago I slipped on my driveway, forgot about the ice underneath the snow. I still have a big bump on the back of my head. I laughed in spite of myself though it took me a moment to realize I could have broken something, passed out and then no one would have found me till daylight... and there's always a chance of concussion and blood clots. Just the day before yesterday a friend's mom fell and she's hemorrhaging, dying. But then she's 93. In the snap of a finger life changes. Do you know of this woman, a neuroscientist whose life was shattered by a stroke but then.... Jill Bolte Taylor Amazing! http://www.ted.com/talks/jill_bolte_taylor_s_powerful_stroke_of_insight.html Love, Anna

Congrats on spotlight. A

Congrats on spotlight. A worthy poem from a worthy poet to a worthy poet. I do find it strange, this propensity to want to take away another's suffering... yet that is the very thing that enables us to transcend this veil of tears... become the people we were meant to be...as long as we don't shut our hearts in pain. Poets just open up more with every bleeding... Love to all, Anna

How could it not?

Be in the spotlight shown such a poem as this is. Your brush with words paints sensitivities of tints, that, like the flower is ephemeral and riding in the breath of every poet uttered with a grace and movement so powerfully meaningful, so intensely felt, that the experience of reading it is like a dreamed reality, a magical moment in time suspended in our minds. Whoever the poem is written for, if read by a stranger, we feel the presence of the poet and his subject with a tenderness unprecedented and fine. Bien fait mon ami bien aimé Annuccia
