ACROSS HORIZONS II--REWRITTEN
ACROSS HORIZONS -revised
Across horizons far and wide
I seek tender and loving hearts
To hear my many voices
Tell of a common destiny.
I pray to no Divinity
Yet
I see the divine in humanity
In those
Who speak their dreams and fearsBlissful moments of heaven
Terrors of hell
And
From this lonely place I'm inA million light years away
My thoughts fly
Across horizons far and wide
To say that I was here
To share who I have been
To have meant something
To one or more
As much as they mean to me
To claim my existence
A second in eternity
.
To let all know
Of my journey’s end
My hopes
My doubts
My dread
