One thousand sighs, until tomorrow

as yesterdays hand
slips off my shoulder,
and tomorrows embrace
takes my lips

in this, today
I breathe a thousand
sighs,
and soar
a breathless wind

I've heaved the night
until the day broke

and stood in the middle
of all and nothing

and now,
I live
in the Milli seconds
between this word,
and the next

breathless beauty

First, a note on grammar: yesterdays & tomorrows are both possessive and so need to have commas :) I am left with many question; none that need be answered: I sense a pivotal night's event, passion or otherwise and an indecisive conclusion as to for better or worse. Is the hand and the embrace that of the same benefactor or have the players changed? Overall, I feel this is meant to be a positive piece yet I can not shake the feeling all is not well. I too am left a bit sad and that is good if it was, in fact, your intent. ken

LOL I had a giggle at the end of your message and I appreciate you always being so generous with my poems but I am still learning, and I do love writing its a passion that I cant see myself ever being rid of(not that I want to lol) but its not only been rewarding in the writing ... the friends and the teachers and there are so many teachers here that if you dont learn something new everyday your not using the site to its full advantage ... your a wonderful writer in your own right I look forward to watching you blossom in word ...
