WHEN WORDS FAIL

WHEN WORDS FAIL

There was nothing I could do

 Nothing I could say

That would take your pain away.

 There were no special prayers

 No litanies

No sacred incantations

 To exorcize the demons

 Inside  of you.

 There were no  words

 That  I knew

To comfort a soul lost in terror

 And

Quiet a   mind trapped in itself

Prisoner of its knowing.

No sounds you understood

 No dreams you could speak

 No longer memories to keep

 Most of all

 No suffering  you could cry

To beg for release

No peace you could ask for

 I  was there

 I tried....

There is somewhere in there a spark that will never dull no matter what it is eternity that holds it and there you can ask for all things, not saying that you will receive all you ask for but you will be told how to find these things if you care to hold this light and build with the bricks it gives you, then no matter who or what you believe in you will have built a structure that will be fit for a god no matter which God you percieve. I liked the write it was a watercolour of pain or futility that can cripple some, Yours Ian.T

Joe

Your faith is always put to the test that is why you are here with us to learn of these things, sometimes when we ask and we are not given we doubt and sometimes the trials that we are put through question our faith in that one being. We are allowed to put our faith to one side and look at other things if all we know is one thing then we would not need to be, it is our learning how to be as those that are in higher places than us, by being more pure at heart or just learning to smile. Your reward for learning is the wisdom of the years held in high esteem by those that have walked this path before, Go well my friend and if you need to lean on one of us for a while I would love to jump the queue, but there are so many ahead of me, Yours Ian.T

Oh Ian, you have said it so well here, I love your comment. Yes yes, you, Joe, you have the spark of understanding that will give you inner strength, whatever the outcome what ever the fight. "I liked the write it was a watercolour of pain or futility that can cripple some," I repeat Ian, well put, Annuccia.

Dear Man

To love, to care, to be there, no failure, just unconditional love. What a deep poem, and it breaks my heart. Such a love hidden in between the pain and sorrow of these words. All my love and hugs. Love Lyz. XX
