Earthfoot Slothfulness

Putting my virtual hand into the rabbit-hole

Grasping at slippery images

Fondling soft meanings

Brushing up against wayward words

There is no way to describe the journey

And completion of mind-melds

In spaces where no man has gone before

Just a surgeon, cutting away the dead issues

Tribble is...The Captain isn't discriminating

The first officer on the scene

Is an infant in human emotion

Having only half a chance of understanding

The complex puzzle of the human heart

I am not sure that logic is represented on board this ship

I have left known realms and embarked upon

The ultimate trip...

Communications are garbled

But I have engineered a warped drive

To take me home and rescue my sanity

G, Gee… I love this

G, Gee... I love this poem...the trouble with tribbles... is....once multiplied (like thoughts) they are hard to.... Hugs, Anna Another brilliant title! Don’t let your victories go to your head, or your failures go to your heart.

Do You Really?

I was hoping that ppl would at least recognise what the title was about. I think you got it! I will wait for someone to say what they think it is. Then when I have a few answers, I will say what it really is. Yeah, my tribbles can get a little out of control. So Glad you liked it! Thank you, Gee

I think you have...

Been saying it for a while now, just not all at once! Thank you so very much for all your reads and comments over the last nine months. I have been encouraged and nourished by the opinions and critical elements, I have also made many friends, a few of which have become very dear to me. I take great pleasure in becoming both a better poet, and I hope a good friend. Thank you for being here for all of it. Hug me, love me, give me hig bugs, ~ Gee

No, I am not...

A war veteran. I have trouble sleeping, because I worked nights for more than 30 yrs, and now I am trying to adjust to a daytime life. My wife works days, my grandson [13] is in school. My wife doesn't drive, and I have to drive my grandson to his bus-stop, at 6:45 am, and my wife to work at 7:45 am. Then I stay up to deal with doctor's appt. and all the daytime stuff. Grandson comes home around 3:15, [I don't have to pick him up] I have to pick up my wife at 4:30, Since I only work 2 nights a week, I feel like I should help with household chores and I do my own laundry. I have been trying to get used to working days, but that isn't working out so well. I do believe that I will have to go back to working the 2 nights. Anyways, I started out writing somthing else entirely, and this just came out. It is a parody of a popular T.V. show that has spawned many spin-offs. Glad you liked it, and it doesn't matter what you made of it, it can and probably does mean different things to different people. Thanks for reading and commenting, Love ya, Gee
