IN A ROOM DARK AND DIM

IN A ROOM DARK AND DIM

In a room dark and dim
The sun peaked  through
The Venetian blinds
Timidly
As though it knew
Someone there  was ending
That day
And
Lovingly
Came  to say
Good bye.  In a room dark and dim
I heard
A whisper crying
A litany of memories
Hidden deep inside
Now alive again In this room dark and dim
Suddenly
I heard
A deep and quiet sigh
Then
The sun withdrew
Black clouds passing through
It seemed to know
Someone just ended there
And faded into twilight
too.

Dear Longobardolino mio,

Sad soliloquy soughing in the breeze of the blown aside curtain of life's inevitable passage across the skies of days and nights lit by the sun, its beams describing the whole, for without it we would see nothing, and yet what is this life, something? Tua Annuccia (Tea Annuli is what the dictionary in my computer told me to write instead of the above!!!!!)
