When I Die
When I Die
No one shall grieve
On my death,
For its imminent,
When it happens
Don’t shed a tear
‘Twill tears me apart
Don’t sprinkle water
I hated a bath
Don’t inform anyone
I have neither kith nor kin
Worthy of such
Happy information
They will shed tears,
Just to show and know
What they shared in my Will,
So let me be consumed
By the natural fires
Take me not home
Just let me smoulder away.
As my ashes become cold
Let them be stowed
Under the freshly falling snow
Let no one come and say
I have gone away
For I shall henceforth
In all your loving hearts
For ever and ever shall stay.
