Dull ink
He sits in dim light
With a pen in hand;
Though he could spit ink
Off the tip of his tongue
Young man, syncing his lips
With the beat of his thoughts
The ink from his pen
Chases his hand, but
Never quite perfects the path
Only dull words and
Empty lines remain intact
