FADING INTO HISTORY

Fading into history There are those lovingAndGentle hearts  NeverTo  know the tendernessOfSomeone to cherishSomeone to missThemWhen they are far awayOr   forever goneNo one’s memory.Shadows passing throughLost and wanderingInThis their  time and spaceA cold and soulless placeFading into historyNo one’s heartbreakNo one’s tearsSad and lonely yearsNever seenNever heardNever hereSoon to disappearInto Infinity

My Longobardolino, so sad.

Yes how sad, how sad, there are, as the woman next door, not the doors next door, but the balcony next door, and in flats where there are hundreds of people one cannot know them all, and we hadn't been here that long when we heard that she had died, alone in her flat, no relatives and had been there for over a fortnight, that was sad to learn, I made sure that the next woman who, also alone, had someone to talk with and visited her several times before she too went into a home and died, she had family who only occasionally visited her, but I still felt awful about the other old lady! She was one such lost 'soul' poor soul, and they don't tell one or try to meet people they accept their 'lot' and what is that, I wonder what that is? So sad you make me feel, I sigh a big sigh for those in this situation, wow. So nicely worded by a compassionate 'soul', Annuccia

Dearest Longo, I think it is

Dearest Longo, I think it is Arrow who belongs to a group whose motto is that no one should die alone. Forgive me if I am incorrect in that. After all is said and done, I am sure we as poets, are here to give voices to the countless who have no voice, who have fallen still and unremembered. Thank you for adding yours. Love, Anna "...when it agrees with reason and it will benefit one and all, then accept it and live by it." ~ Buddha
