RAMPANT SUPERFLUITY

RAMPANT SUPERFLUITY

 

 

 

Rampant superfluity
Gets in the way
Of tasting  life delicately
Unnecessary thoughts
Anguish unkind
Memories that displease
And dsiturb the spirit dreaming.
Existential  nausée
That binds the mind
Holds the soul hostage
In chains
Of torment and despair
Prisoners of our mystery.
Forever
Languishing in this our  precious time
And space
Longing
To know what is never to be known
Storming the heavens with Promethean rage
To recreate Creation
To die immortal crashiing through Infinity
Leaving behind the sweet simplcit of living
And the final passion of ending.

This is good, wonderful.

Just wonderful for want of a better word, one runs out of words that don't have cliché status and is left with only them to play with. This I like very very much Longobardolino mio, this is Poetry this is poetry at its best and so profound the bits I specially liked were these:- "And disturb the spirit dreaming...........the spirit, that intangible .....dreaming....I hear that too Existential nausée"..............that's terrific "To recreate Creation To die immortal crashing through Infinity........can see the act. Leaving behind the sweet simplcity of living"
