THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH

THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH

There are no truths

No absolutes.

Only opinions, wishes and desires.

Reality is a fractured glass reflecting

Perceptions of a million eyes.

There is no system I live by.

I create my own way to survive

To find my bliss

Each and every day

As my mind and body betray

Me.

We are a magnificent complexity

Children of A Mystery.

There is no “is”

Only what “seems to be.”

Life and Death

Heaven and Hell

The Soul

The Spirit

Notions made flesh by our singular hopes and fears.

AMEN

Tthe reality of 'things' !!!

I can only send you to the comments on Hugo's "Love Rites" where as you now know I commented on the reality of 'things', but this poem is in itself a reality, one with your view as an individual, one which, as you know, I share. And here you have put 'it' so well, so in a nutshell - to make a mundane remark, that i give it all the stars in the universe and say well done. so succinct, so precise. Beautiful. My Longobardolino, from your Annuccia P.S. I MUST add what you already know " from your poem here:- "Reality is a fractured glass reflecting Perceptions of a million eyes." How beautiful is that 'folkens'?
