DIVINTY

DIVINITY

The human Will can survive
Do what it needs to stay alive
Then let go when it knows its time.
The human Heart gives itself willingly
For the sake of another.
Loves beyond the grave
And continues on.
The human Body will decay
Return to the earth  from where it came
And give back what from Nature it took away.
We struggle to  recreate the world
That He began
And give sparkling light to where Infinity falls.
The Spirit never  dies.
It just separates
To journey’s End
Or
Beginning.
for
We are Divinity.

Longo, I identify with your poem. Had I written it though, I would have written "for we are Divinity's message". Love, Anna

J.B. Longo-GeremiaThank you,

J.B. Longo-Geremia Thank you, Anna. However, "messengers of...." would suggest a diviine super entity. I don't believe there is one. And if there is, he is either dead or hiding. Joe

Perhaps I should explain,

Perhaps I should explain, Joe. If there is only Divinity, then there is only its message, hence we are all messengers. But its *Your* poem, my dear friend. Love, Anna

Do you mean Divinity or divinity, apparently there is a distinction? Divinity is a god-like leader divinity can be an attribute. Not sure Ann

Only humans can divide God

Only humans can divide God into what is and isn't. Only humans can create *attributes* call them divine or sinful, can create Texan Republicans and Kennedy Democrats, Norweigan folk tales or Hungarian Tzigane music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqAqQiP61co&feature=fvw Much love, Anna

Yes that's it

Oh wondrous spirit of all things. Annuccia I feel like a native American speaking those words for some reason. They knew, they knew about such things, didn't they? (rhetorical)

Dear Joe & Ann,YES!!! Spirit

Dear Joe & Ann, YES!!! Spirit surpasses and includes our humanity. Something often forgotten. That's why I love the word Namaste: "I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells, I honor the place in you which is of Love, of Integrity, of Wisdom and of Peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are One." ~A

Longobardolino,

Float on, oh ether of our spirit, and may the sum of our endeavours, where they be of worth, flavour the earth's miriad colours and ideas that we have touched upon and pondered, our little poems may perhaps grow wings and sing to other souls, and carry on the music we, in our existence, made, and in the rainbow of the earth's thoughts and patterned wisdom take our part in the great scheme of things human. Love goes on as you say it is an ether too, that is tapped and never dries up. If we die into love then what better epitaph than that. And give sparkling light to where Infinity falls. This is a lovely bit, you painted a picture for me, like that which I saw on the surface of Baantjern (tarn) like silver dust cast onto the dark water, but the photo didn't catch it, it moved so fast and glittered away before the camera could catch the light, I took two photos of it, but no, it is in my memory instead and cannot be pictured any more than infinity can. "Return to the earth  from where it came And give back what from Nature it took away.".............I like this bit specially. How true, how well you translate the world for us, from the language you have learnt so deeply, given to you by nature too, your nature, you are divinity. Your Annuccia with love.

Dear Longo:

I understand your point of view quite so much. Here is the problem --for some--; or the greater virtues of oneness, for me. The millions, the egos, separate, they think forever; or the gradual realization of the oneness of Divinity. Great poem! Sincerely, Hugo

hello

I agree with what Hugo said. I also believe in spirit (having read through the comments) I enjoyed the reading of this poem. Great work. Always, Cat
