TRAVELING MAN

TRAVELING MAN

I’m a traveling man you see

I travel on my own

Alone

Deep inside to parts unknown.

Some say the voices I hear

Are whispers of a soul

Speaking my immortality

As each passing day

I slowly fade away.

Voices that silently shout the key to my mystery.

I’ve been to places dark and dim

Places I wish I had never been.

I try to listen carefully

To understand what they are telling me.

But lost I am in Mind’s own fear

As I journey into dark corners

Far and near

But

A traveling man am I

And journey I will to the end

And beyond

Until  my t raveling days are gone.

Dear Longo

The Traveling Man, what a wonderful title and your poem is great. I know that you may find things hard at times and you are having a difficult time of things, by the sound of your poem, but for you to write so profound and strong, there is something great going on in your travels.I enjoyed this. Well wishes to you, dear man, Love Lyz.XX
