Limbo

LIMBO

Lingering in a place I don't know
A spirit lost in limbo
Srtange begiinings
No endings.
Pushed forward by Life's eternal winds
Never losing hope to see the light
Promises to those entering their last night.
I feel death's's chill constantly
Strong of heart and mind but not body
Yet my soul is my  divinity
I survive doing the best to stay alive
Languishing in the grips of my own mystery
Soon to be part of history.

Linger longer Longobardolino

We wish you well in your new place and your soul is so resilient, you should rejoice in the fact that you have a sunny place to be with sunny colours around you, and here you have sunny friends to greet you whenever you feel down, we welcome you back into the fold, a fold of loving people I believe. "Pushed forward by Life’s eternal winds" I liked this line specially and the pathos of "Soon to be part of history." Ow, so potent. Love from your Annuccia

~~~~~Longo~~~~~ I want to take death's chill away, and crush it with warmth of the sun! "Yet my soul is my divinity" Beautiful line ____________________________________________________ Income-tax forms should be more realistic by allowing the taxpayer to list "Uncle Sam" as a dependent Anonymous
Dear Longo. I wish I could
Dear Longo. I wish I could take your pain away. But then.... I have to tell you a story here. Many years ago, I was part of a dynamic workshop in NJ for women of all ages, all backgrounds. Educated women, women from prison, young women, old women, you get the picture. One day we had a speaker.... she had a PHD & MA's in I forget how many endeavors. Anyhow, she wheeled herself in. Half a woman, really. The shortest legs and arms you have ever seen. And she was the first person I had ever seen that looked like that. Just a torso on the wheelchair. But when she spoke.... you forgot her physicality because she touched something very deep in one's heart and you had to listen... to forget the things that made you different. She obviously made a huge impression on me. You know what she said? She said "your suffering is your gift". Much love, Longo. ~Anna
Oh powerful and fine.
You are a wonderful person yourself, who carries the story and fully undrerstood it too. You are what they call "The salt of the earth" may you live long and have a happy life with your compassion and knowledge of the human condition. Oh goodness me. That was a lovely comment Anna I had just to say so here, n'est pas Longobardolino? Annuccia-Ann of Norway
Hi
Such a sad write, but I must say, very heartfelt. From the comments above, you are a gentle soul who has had a rough trot, well I hope you don't mind,but I wish you well, and by the sounds of it, a welcome back. An awesome write from the heart. From the newbie, Lyz.
