FLYING AGAINST THE WIND
FLYING AGAINST THE WIND
I dream to roam through lands
I've never been before
Alone and on my own
To wander fields and mountain sides
Rivers flowing into Ocean's womb
And know the mystery of Nature's way
A shared humanity to discover
To know I am like every other.
I want to see my immortality
A singular point of infinity
Unique and the same
As others on this journey.
But these are dreams the soul makes
That takes us beyond reality.
Just a moment's bliss and harmony.
But you see
We fly against the wind
We who dream fantasy
Feeling the Angel close behind
Soon to knock at our door
To end our dreams for ever more.
