RAINBOWS II

RAINBOWS

Thoughts green and sky-blue

Pass through my mind

Blind to my realities,

My soul sleeps in other worlds

Beyond Horizon's edge.

Places I've been in childhood dreams

Safe and warm away from harm.

No fear.

No dread,

A letting go.

A Spirit's whisper

In a passing sigh

Telling me

Soon it will be my time.

Incredibly brave and peaceful poem here Longo~ ______________________________________________________ Income-tax forms should be more realistic by allowing the taxpayer to list "Uncle Sam" as a dependent Anonymous

Sigh. I love your poetry,

Sigh. I love your poetry, Longo, and it breaks my heart to read it.... I wish you great love and joy along with your easy peace...not that you don't already have it. ~A "Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood." T. S. Eliot

J.B. Longo-Geremia I have a sense of peace with the inevitable, but it has also gven me an extraodinary will to live and an uncommon lust for life. joe
