NEVER FORGET REGRET
Asking how are youThe question answerd No words spokenA token of life broken. Are you fullA nod.
Will you be readyStanding steadyHe asks my name.
Floyd W. GreenA killing machineYes sir a marine.
Remember your glanceCalling me fancy pantsTaking my mind to a slant.
Another soul in my canteenWhat the hell do you meanJust a dead man walking to green.
I get point agian
Perhaps in the bush to remain.
Yet forever a soldier in painYou sir know my name
I say it agianFloyd W. Green
United States Marine.
