A FAREWELL-revised

A FAREWELL

I’ve lost myself in others’ dreams
Loves, fears and agonies
It is now time for me
To fly on eagle’s wings
Sing my songs
With my own voice
Rejoice in my creativity
Part of who I was
Has fallen by the wayside
Living by others’ rules
Deceived by others’ lies
There is no space to breathe
To run and to be
I feel Mortality’s touch
Dark shadows haunt  my soul
They  torture me
And  I struggle to claim my  singularity

Yes you be you.

Not sure that I like "bits of pieces" would prefer the banal 'bits and pieces' here as it stops the flow for me- being not quite the usual way of saying it, yet it has no need to call such attention to itself. No? I would like one line more, to tie it up both rhythmically and as a thought, or statement. Just my feelings about it my Longo, from your Annuccia

Singular sir singular.

Now its great my Longobard, It seems to have a good form now, that was just what I wanted, you understood me perfectly. I especially love the place where I step off into the space that goes on after "to run and to BE"...........oooh lovely hesitation .............and to BE. SUPERB. Love Annucccia
