The Long Goodbye
I don't want to cry
I don't want to die
I want to live life
I want to be your wife
I want to make this the long goodbye
People wonder why
As I walk along the stream
I want to liveout my dream
It maybe out in space
I'm battling in my own race
I have looked out real far
To reach out for that only star
That I haven't accomplish much
It can be so far for me to touch
I can't wait this long
For a new song
The long goodbye
I rather say hi
To be with you
To earn everything that is due
I don't want to die
I want to live life
I want to be your wife
I want to make this the long goodbye
People wonder why
As I walk along the stream
I want to liveout my dream
It maybe out in space
I'm battling in my own race
I have looked out real far
To reach out for that only star
That I haven't accomplish much
It can be so far for me to touch
I can't wait this long
For a new song
The long goodbye
I rather say hi
To be with you
To earn everything that is due
