FROZEN FIRE

FROZEN FIRE

Words linger
Frozen fire
In Time and Space
Relentless Energy
That haunts our dreams
And steals the peace of memory
No plea. No prayer
Can heal a shattered soul
Or a heart grown cold
No cruelty goes unseen
No unkindness fades into forgivness
Slithers of anger
Betray true lies
Like demons relentless for the kill
They will
Tear at us once again
Our hell in Eternity

Oh Longo, oh Longo.

Oh Longo you insist on dragging us to Hell and back again We shall all know what it is like before we get there, as I feel sure the description of it has been well provided by you - if this is recreational therapy then we are pleased to share it if it might help - I expect within such an illness one is allowed to feel occasionally defeatist, but we hope that there are moments when this shadowed black witch looks up from her cauldron and stops dunking you further down into the flames of Hell Fire. We know not how lucky we are, we who are without pain and suffering! I love the frozen fire image. I have no fear of eternity, it is no thing and I shall be no thing with it. Annuccia

I don't even know

J.B. Longo-Geremia ...what "eternity" means. Writing is cathartic. But there is something in me that is positive and pushes me forward. I write what I have seen or experienced--events and feelings that have made me strong in spite of it all, yes? :) Il Longobardolino tuo
