Coincidences

The minor coincidences
of everday life
are not really minor
and they're not really
coincidences either

Many tend to
disregard them as
inconsequential and/or
trivial curiosities of
happenstance

Others see
something deeper
at work, and believe
that there is no such thing
as coincidence;
that everything happens
for a reason

I'm not really sure
what I think
but it seems that
there are too many
coincidences for them
to be minor or  trivial
or inconsequential

The roots of coincidence

There's a lot of literature on this fascinating subject, not conclusive of course. It would be fun to write poetry ad see everyone elses idea of it, good subject. Yours Ann of Norway
