APPEARANCES

APPEARANCES I am a man of steel Yes I am Heart of stone A stare cold and unfeeling A satyr on the run I don’t need anyone All my love and care Affection and vulnerability That’s not really me Appearances I was born in a certain tradition Transgression and attrition Liturgical cannibalism to feed a hungry soul Pain and suffering as we grow old Beaten as a child Never allowed o cry But loved the most In the name of t he Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost All this you see Will guarantee me Heaven’s dream So They say I am a man of steel
Yes I am Heart of stone A stare cold and unfeeling Appearances..

I liked this

It had that fatalism in there that if used correctly can make a man excel in things by not bowing to its nature. A good write there, Yours Ian.T

Yes

J.B. Longo-Geremia we embrace our fate as we struggle against it. The paradox of survival. I lived 66 years knowing the way, yes? :) joe
