painted faces walk this streetbound by reinforced concreteeach rendered numb, staring half a milenot one of them dare impart a smile as two pass eachother, blindboth can sense the others mindneither brave remove their iron paintrelief then falls as their backs acquaint when the paint began to settempered faces proved to fretbut not a word as the masks grew fleshthe well-known process begins afresh
