WOLVES II: A SEQUEL

WOLVES II

Many wolves I have seen
With many wolves I have been
 And

Looking  back
May have even  run with the pack
 But never did I
 Try to steal a soul
Cold and cunning as  they  Time will tell which will suffer in hell
For the slaugher of kind and gentle hearts
 Not I

No not you

You give us your thoughts about your past and we understand from them who this 'you' is and are in agreement that it is not you who should suffer but them. Don't you think so folks? Maybe after all your soulful poems you might steal our souls even if you didn't intend to. Annuccia

wolves

wolves in the sense i think you mean them are not good things, and though you ran with them, you found your way was not theirs, and left them. however i think that wolves in the true sense, are magnificent animals and deserve more respect. longo, you are a very good soul and we love your stuff. beauty is a matter of perspective. gee

Thanks

J.B. Longo-Geremia "Wolves" is just an archetypical metaphor for "predator sprits." I was never one. RAN WITH THE PACK was a poetic fill in , but I have known them! Joe
