TRY NOT TO DIE

Dead men.

Clouds cover the star light
With compass in hand.

Two clicks  south and then one
                      north,
They surround or back while
       knocking at  the door.

Are they home,  inside?  Tell me
                        yes..
Light them up and let them burn,
a picture for those that come
                       next.

Ok John order the 50 to rattle
                 the woods,
dig in my friend,  have a smoke.

Fice clicks out  not a joke.

Standing Tall

Geezer. I stand with a flower in my hand asking only this. I wonder of the sons or daughters that are yours forever to keep. If one or two and by chance three and four were to go off to war. Would you just be the lady I think you are and love them and pray for thier saftey each day. I need not a answer to that question as I know you would. So if just by chance one of those wishes to talk to you then hold a open mind to the place they are to remember or to forget. Steven A. Kacer

Hello friend...

Well, an insanely powerful piece, Steven. You've pretty much left me speechless...that, as everyone knows, is not easy to do...only flaw I see is the typo "clowds", but is forgiven as you write off the cuff my friend nothing more. I too have been guilty of typos so let it go. Worth the read as always, my friend. Peace and Love Katie

Your words

Kate. I stand as me and say thanks for the time spent to read my poetry. I fixed the typo clowds yet I will try to place the w away as it my friend to me looks like a cloud in my mind of clowded gray. I say God is to play in clouds of wwwww. See ya on the flip side as you to are my friend. A smile a flower and a gun. What else can I say. Steven A. Kacer
