WITH ONE WING WE TRY TO FLY

For one beautiful moment, I had just one wing to fly

This was a gift to me as a cloud seen the tears as I  cry

He said to me if I give you just one wing

Will you let your heart to fly to your dreams?

And yes I will give you half

But your other wing lives in your past

You will  need both of them to fly

One wing is your future and the other is made of lies

So the Sun ask of me child how can you fly

When you want so much love but your past is still alive

As my heart knew the only words, I could say

That I will make a new wing and the way to my dreams are steps always

For a bird cannot fly with just one wing

So how can we love if your soul is so torn between?

Put it all back together without the mistakes of a broken wing

And your true love will see a angel with both of your wings

Hello brother. You my friend are better even than I thought you would be. Getting the spelling together as your words were always placed well. I say this my friend a poet you will be forever in the gray I keep. Steven A. Kacer
