JACKALS

JACKALS

Jackals in the bush

Waiting patiently

cunningly

searching for

One more

heart to tear apart

Smelling the blood of innocense

A virgin soul to rape

and

mutilate

For pleasure or gain

No use to struggle

It's all a game

In this Godless world

Survival of the fitest

They say

But then comes the day

Jackals too will have to pay

You fetched it then Joseph

And they will too and they've got what's coming to them. They will never have a life that is satisfying always expecting their fury will give them that and it won't. Yours as ever Annuccia

May not be in our lifetime.

J.B. Longo-Geremia but there has to be a "universal Juatice" somewhere. I have known too many "jackals" in my lifetime. Grazie, Annuccia Il Longobardolino

Jackals are only vicious animals

Man is the one with the gift of being an animal and a wisdomed creature too kind to say animal in this day or the past creature yes thats more like it Great poem and yes they do get it or are gotten a better way to express it (after seeing a stuffed Jackal at mall I think they are the coolest animal after the wolf...Viscious doesnt even come close to describing these beasts!!) whereupon the greatest creature sometimes looks the most "normal"

So true !

J.B. Longo-Geremia We are fascinated by "creatures from the dark side." But we always look for salvation in "our won light." Thanks, my friend. joe

Unless they are psycopaths,

Unless they are psycopaths, 'they' know who 'they' are and even are punished in this life with this knowledge of themselves. Our nature makes us wish to survive and I don't think we are born with the jackal in us, it is something we cultivate, the we being society and circumstances. But I share your hope for Justice. I am sure you have won light Joe, you spread it too. Anucccia.

psycho's

read much watched much and met some modern "Jackals" I like the idea of "won light" the puzzle of redemption and such Locally from a long ago murder of a child the killer was brought forth and he "sadly" (great sarcasm) died in minimum security..(ha ha guess it wasn't "secure" enough for him) The comments following this act of justice were of triumph Of joy for the family members who lost the child he would have had possible parole in ten years he said she got "stubborn" Im sure he enjoyed telling this he got what he deserved and the other Jackals were too brought to justice anyway today the sun shines its beautiful out we have checks and balances for the most part in our societies but the cruelty that creates creatures goes on I like your justice though Longo great poem again
