CHOICES

CHOICES It’s not in our choosing You understand This winning or losing Always another hand Pushing us surrepticiously As We dance and sing to an unheard melody Smiling blissfully But it is all Cosmic Trickery This unkind fatality Puppets on a string We stumble through Rise and fall Get up and try again In foolish dreams We twirl to our end On the wings of  responsibility For  our own humanity

What can I say dear Joe

It is you who have us all on strings, we hang on your words and swing through the attic of your mind like spiders on their webs, trying to see the whole world, but only managing to see the little bit that you give us. Like a bite of food to the child, we savour it like gourmets and with it, drink the wine of existence, the heady slightly inebriating wine of life, becoming unable to see beyond our small everyday lives. Your wisdom is that of the sages, we must learn from you how to exist. Lombardolino the Wise, you are, we send our love to you. Annunccia.
