And the Universe Screams

When moonlight touches upon forever
And dewdrops reflect tomorrows face
While teardrops glimpse the future times
And stars are silver tatted lace
I shall come for you though hell may bar the way

When the twenty moons of Saturn are strung
Like pearls against your alabaster skin
And comets shine in the aura of your eyes
Though the universe give birth in original sin
I shall come for you though heaven itself screams nay

I shall not be denied, my love, I shall come for you.

I guess he/she has nothing better to do. Vote ones for all I care. I like the comments more than scores anyway and spotlight just shows others liked it enough to vote, but they don't have to. I wouldn't be using

a single hyperbole to tell you this is far and away fantastic, it utterly blew me away! The cadence of this poem is perhaps the most quietly powerful I have seen from you. Beyond intellectual, beyond emotional, in this there is just...feeling. Incredible work, Rett. I do wonder if you meant "gave" instead of "give" in the third to last line, or at the least "gives," but perhaps you didn't, and it matters little. Great stuff. Mark W. Rett Oh my friend this is just awesome. So moved was I. This is amazing. So hauntingly beautiful It has been so delicatly put together. WoW The way you have entwined the tendrals they are so full of colour tenderness. There is a purity such magic woven into these beautiful words. I am in awe of the word association used here.
