New Love

I can't get your beautiful face off my mind,
I'm trying to relax, take one step at a time,
I lay awake at night wishing for the best,
Until you're back in my arms, my heart can't rest.

How I wish I could have one more sweet kiss,
Hear you whisper my name from your soft lips,
Your gentle love has come and completely captured me,
I'm forever yours, please, don't set me free.

My heart fly's with one simple small touch,
It's amazing how quickly I fell in love,
With such a beautiful, amazing, sweet soul,
I want to hold you, and never let go...

Like a rose that beautifully blooms and shines,
I hope our love only grow's stronger in time.
Until then i smile when i look into your eyes,
Because neither one of us wants this love to die.

This new love excites a passion hidden deep inside,
I'm so thankful that you're the lady by my side.
Believe me when I say, "I've loved you for a while,"
I just can't get enough of your addicting smile!

You capture the ‘new

You capture the 'new love' feeling really well! change 'fly's' for 'flies' and remove apostrophe from 'grow's' but only if you're a stickler for grammar!! :) perhaps even swap 'addicting' for 'addictive'? Definitely enjoyed this poem though, top job!! take care b x
