FADING AWAY

FADING AWAY

Slowly fading into night
Edges dull
Fire dying
Slowly slipping silently by
Reflecting shadow in the light
Nothing more I need to do
Gone
From view
To everyone
Stepping gently into dark
Sleeping sweetly
in oblivion

A lovely write!

And I love this one, lovely, sweet & leaving so much to be padded out by our own "stuff" we bring to any reading. You place us in such a lovely way to explore the feelings of light & depth here & colour it our own muted or brighter colours - a lovely write. Enjoying your work.
