The Werewolf

The moonbeam grabbed you by your thatch,
melting within you its craters, its mystic thrill...
How did you linger throughout these ages
without your fangs feasting on the voluptous thighs?
Look at the sunset while you shudder,
the sun will crush your eyelids
with its claws of mercy.
The thirst of blood won't let you breathe
the brisk scent of the mountains,
but the rocks will remain your temples
and in your nights you'll hunt for daybreaks.
No longer you're a fiend!
The wind of wisdom ringed up his curtain,
leaving the butterflies to lick the wounds
of your last absolute huntings.
All is briefed by how you sink your fangs
into the weakness of your chase
and by how the chase turns its flesh to you.

Unli., Nice dark imagery, with the curse getting stronger, until "by now, the chase turns it's flesh to you." Well done. Perhaps you would read my latest dark entry, Indigo Angel. wcw

THE WOLF

Unlight. I wonder if you have tried to kill the wolf without eyes. I look to my past and say yes I have, yet to no scream of pain and yes it just walked agian and agian. So I walk today just a man with a clue that to say all that is to be seen is just what it is and what your life will give is just that your life my friend. Steven A. Kacer

Excellent write here. Well deserving of the spotlight. Well done. Have you ever read my poem "The Wolf"? Kind of a similar yet very different write. Respectfully, Rett: "Next time you think you're perfect, walk on water."
