CRADLE

CRADLE Cradle me in your armsAgainLet me feelYour warmthYour love Make this pain of mine  End Let Time Forget that I am here Let me steal myself to where I have no worry and no care Let me sleep my memories away Let me not remember  When Or Why Let my spirit fly  To better days Let me hide in your embrace Then Let my soul slip gently by

Hi Longo!

There's a line in a Porcupine Tree song that goes "switch off the future, right now, let's sleep forever". Your poem reminded me of that song, which I by the way adore. I really like the atmosphere of this poem, not only because I can relate, but because of the flow, the way the feeling seems to be carried by the words, and the authenticity. Thank you, I enjoyed. Will be checking out your work further! Yours sincerely //Nihilia

J.B. Longo-GeremiaThank you,

J.B. Longo-Geremia Thank you, again. Poetry comes from the reality of one's own heart. It is the metaphor-- the language--- of the soul, yes? Grazie joe

Ann of Norway May the spiders most beautiful web be your cradle, his wisdom, and the weaving of the web describe your cradle rocking gently in the breeze and changing colour with the rainbows and the sun glinting its soft journey back to where you have begun. My Loved Longobardolino Annuccia
