Running to catch up

Running to catch up I live with pain every dayMy body doesn’t hear a word I sayButSo many of us live that wayIn this God’s worldWe twirlIn circlesAway from the restWe move and try to do our bestWe smile through our private hellNo one can tellIt’s a matter of dignityYet I look in the mirror And  still  see meSo far so longI’ve comeNothing has changedAlways The little boy running to catch upLetting them knowI am someone
