Unconditional love

I believe that unconditional love through thick and thin (like the feelings of good parents for their child or the mutual devotion of a couple who are genuinely, deeply in love) is the most intense form of this emotion, which is why I like this poem, because it suggests that such love may never really appear in some people's lives, and I'm afraid that is probably true. Best Wishes, Robert.

Longo...

I know the feelings expressed very well... it would be much harder to compete with a ghost... that wasn't the case for me but the similarities are there... I could never measure up... still can't... of course I stopped trying long ago... but it is still there, in the not so buried heart of me.... but we live on... I am hoping for you to find that unconditional lover of you... in the meanwhile... keep writing... it does help to uncover our covered emotions... thanks for posting Richard

The dog is perhaps the only one

and possibly other animals, that cn give unconditional love they never ask why, they cannot, they do their best to please us and are ever attentive to our every need, thse animals that love us give this unconditional love, at least I think so. Mother's and fathers can approach this state but, well but they want one to be this, do that etc and do not alwas ask if we wish to do those things. Good luck to the finding of this unconditional love, if it is there it will come. Your Annuccia
