Dream Dance
DREAM DANCE I held her frail body in my arms:“ Don’t worry, mom, I will dance you to the other side.”The music began to play as we twirled around the room. She smiled and lay her head close to mine In the light of the moon. She looked up and “thank you, “ I heard her say As she sighed and slowly slipped away
COMMENT: This was an actual dream I had after my mom died from Parkinsonian dementia. Two years later I was diagnosed with an agressive form of Parkinsonism, Explains much of my writing.
