Allergy

She had the tests that morningThe results are due back todayShe’s got, medical insuranceSo she doesn’t have to pay When we got the results, we foundThey were not quite as expectedWe got back in the carAnd travelled home dejected Though Lou Lou isn’t dyingIt’s a real  pain in the arseWho’d ever believe that their Dog would Be allergic to all kinds of grass

Oh man, after having a son

Who was allergic to dust mites and all the southern grasses when small, that is rough, even if it is a dog. Excellent write John. Respectfully, Rett: "Life is like a beach. Salty, gritty, somewhat fishy and at other times, downright crabby" Rett: 2008

Lou Lou’s our white Boxer,

Lou Lou's our white Boxer, she's 18 months old and developed a rash during the summer. After several visits to the vet we had the allergy test done, it turned out that she is allergic to 14 types of grass, living in the country that makes things a bit awkward. If she doesn't grow out of it, she'll need medication for the rest of her life. Mark, here in England grass and arse do rhyme. Thank you all for your kind comments. Regards John

Not unheard of for pets to have allergies, too. Jai-ja (our Siberian cat) seems to have more wax buildup, and itchies over the spring and summer. Vet said it was seasonal allergies, and gave her medicated ear drops. Ears are clean, itchies are better, and kitty is happy. Now that it's cold weather, she'll not have a problem. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- - this is part of the reason why us Americans are pissed! http://www.neopoet.com/node/14993 We're broke!!
