Come softly
Sit and stay with me
Let us speak of words and things
All sorts of poetic ponderings

Come softly
Sit and stay with me
Let us drink from the cup of life
All sorts of love and strife

Come softly
Sit and stay with me
Let us eat from that forbidden tree
All sorts of ease, fancy free

Come softly
Sit and lay with me
Let us dream of words and things
All sorts of poetic ponderings

Come softly stay with me for

Come softly stay with me for eternity though our bodies may be worn and the presence of our light wans.... the bluest flame burning brightly through all these lives, loved and never lost... Love. ~A your eldest?

There is 8 years between my

There is 8 years between my son and daughter... She was a little mother for him (still is in a sense) they are the best of friends (most of the time). My grandson is an awesome big brother to his brood of half-sisters/brothers.... Bless all our children... Our family has a sometimes outlandish sense of humour; it's a generational thing and with our never-ending challenges, a much-needed lifesaver. Hugs. ~A

i was a little mother...

I had two younger brothers with 6 and 8 years between us I definitely took care of them. Dane is 3 1/2 years older than my 18 mo. old, Londyn and 4 3/4 years older than my 6 week old, Jaina lol I did not plan to have my girls so close together but with the arrival of Jaina I now realize what the plan is for me and could not be more blessed. There exists no greater treasure than that I have found in the jewel toned eyes and rose colored cheeks of my children. the same is true of every mother I think. Bless you and yours! Emarie

Enjoyed your poem. I had my 2nd and 3rd child 18 months apart, and I enjoyed having 2 little ones at the same time. Big brother at age 5 did not appreciate it.

Enjoyed this Emarie

I also think he is a little imp by the look on his face. He looks like he is full of mischief, not mean, just mischievious. I was the baby with 7 years between me and my next oldest brother. I was the quiet one who just quietly did things his way no matter what price I had to pay. BTW, pay I did quite often. *LOL* They just thought my older brother was the one to watch out for. and an imp he is

he is my little jester...and quite possibly the sweetest soul on this planet...not just from a mother's bias opinion either...I have been blessed beyond the point of deserving it and I will have it no other way! lol growing up I was always too wise for my years and that got me into a lot of trouble, as well as kept me out of it. haha in my house a child not dare debate with anyone...oops lol I still enjoy a healthy debate but just as when I was younger, I can get no one to engage for too long. sometimes the dismissal of my passion to my youth only fuels a fury that causes me to push too far so I suppose it still gets me into trouble lol anywho....thanks so much for the read! ahhh

I suppose it is a rain dance of sorts...I always feel that I am taking a gamble with repetition but sometimes it just feels right. and if I may I would like to make the suggestion that if you are going to read more of my work please sample some of my older postings...I would love your opinion! Thanks again! <3 Emarie @~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~@ "For every shadow, no matter it's depth, is threatened by the morning's light..."
