Springtime Breezes

When damp springtime breezes
melt away winter freezes
I often think of you

When warm summer winds
sting my red, sunburned limbs
I often think of you

When cool autumn squalls
sneak a draft through my walls
I often think of you

When cold winter blows
at my frostbitten toes
I often think of you

When daylight peeks in
and my long day begins
I often think of you

When I turn out the light
and lie awake every night
I always think of you

Welcome back Tom

Hope the vacation went well. Wonderful poem my friend. Great thythm and loved the rhyme scheme. Respectfully, Rett: "Life is like a beach. Salty, gritty, somewhat fishy and at other times, downright crabby!" Rett 2008.

“it is what it

"it is what it is"....truer words were never spoken... nor the poem that is spoken from a heart that is broken. May you always sense his presence. ~A
