I prefer to make you blush
To make your heart race
I prefer to make you need
More than you should want
I prefer to take you down
So I can bring you back up
I prefer to be your ecstasy
Your every fantasy, my sweet

I prefer to make your pride
Swell

I prefer to be that one and only
That diamond in the ruff
I prefer to be the only thing
Between you and your sanity
I prefer to be your madam
In the pm and your lover in the am

My Fingers are about to get me in trouble

For starters, please don't take this the wrong way, I think you have a wonderful poem here. One that is certainly powerful and provocative. Maybe its just me but I feel that you could loose some of the "I prefer" and a few articles here and there. It would get rid some of the redundantacy but I Think the piece as a whole would flow better. A great read none the less and I hope for His sake the man in question knows what he has. Thanks for sharing.

Turn the air conditioner on

I think my brain overheated, uh, at least I think it was my brain or what most think passes for a brain in men. Anyway, as Tom said, take my wife to lunch, but keep writing. This was excellent except that I have to agree with Vone-fan as to lose a few of the I prefers and you will have a much cleaner flow. I thoroughly enjoyed the write. I like the repetition in the separate lines between each stanza, the every other line repetition I think could be better served by putting something different or deleting those. Keep the separate ones between stanzas. My $1.00 worth, add a quarter and you can buy a cup of coffee. *LOL* uh, except Starbucks. Respectfully, Rett: "You want change?
