ROCK THE CRADLE
ROCK THE CRADLE
Circles without end
years of angry words
days of silence
that took your love away
a will that would not bend
breaking childhood dreams
streams of your tears
that in time were mine
and the shame that I grew
to do the same to you,

I can feel
the true emotion you've put in this Joe. Like the metaphor you've put through out and very effective closing lines.

Thanks, Ruta. True experience
Thanks, Ruta. True experience makes for the best poetry. Delve into yourself, and you will find that "raw emotion."

Yes, the more we delve into
Yes, the more we delve into ourselves, we will find yet undiscovered "worlds.".

Joe
A piece that is lost in the frivolous age of the young today, where tears are more for tantrums than meanings.
That you hold onto such things with such a strength, that is a weakness, but a true love of the things you did for others.
What else can I say young Joe, I feel you are as a rainbow that has a reflection when you look into the mirror of life.
Joe there were many years where you were so free,
Take care freedom is something sometimes so pure.
Sorry I speak in riddles but I think that you will know of what I speak, Yours as always, Ian.T
