Hate or fear without evidence
Is really just prejudice
Which is evil & manmade
& Needs to be thrown away
Critical thinking skills are non-negotiable
If you truly want to stop being gullible
2 men proved that empathy & facts
Are the best tools for getting
your humanity back
One wrote to a radio show
And put listeners of Superman in the know
Of the KKK 's codes and secret handshake
To strip them of their clandestine state
The other asked "how can you hate who you don't even know?"

I live near Pittsburgh, PA and have been writing poetry on and off for about 15 years. I tend to be inspired by current events, history, and personal struggles.
