The Knight Of An Modern Time

A man who carries a boulder on his shoulder
his naked necrotic stature
trembling amongst a long stretch of road
stretching between
two differing valleys of reflection.
Purposely portraying
realities wrapped in decorative ribbons
of decisive deceit
wildly professing the cemented path
pathed before his noble feet.

He an knight birthed
from breaking bowels
of dirt stained tin
trotting against the grain.

Buried in his own
iridescence of forgotten honor
he raises his grizzled
chin towards the
winding river of stars.

Faced with the last torn pages
of his lost story
he casts his beholden blade
like a comet
sparkling before
the stagnant streetlights.
Towards the
incandescent
dust filled laughter
of an elated legend .

My real name is Hayden McCain
I had a shunt since I was 2 a shunt is a device in my brain and it is used for my hydrocephalus which that is a condition where you have to much brain fluid the shunt is there to drain it in order for me to survive and continue to write poetry So along with a shunt doctors won’t allow me to play contact sports ,ride a 2 wheeled bike and ride roller coasters I’m also a twin. I have a twin sister named Hannah I’m older than her by a minute.
