Moods

Oh these moods!
Like knives or pillows, to fix or ruin.
Crash and burn, or sways to mellow.
A pleasant flavour, or poison time.

One day,
A tear stained, ugly cry face.
Sitting here in my low place,
Staring out at canvas grey.

Another time,
foggy brained, buzzin mind,
Swirling, twisted, distortive spell.
Whirlwind that I own as mine.

Yet calm's awesome relief,
Provides a pause from vengeful knives.
Whilst pillow's turn, is all too brief,

Ocean of Grief

Grief is a roller coaster,
emotions rising and falling
like waves upon the sea.

Smiles hiding silent screams,
masking misty eyes,
only to break open
in moments of solitude,
in the dark shadows of night.

Tears fall quietly,
clearing space
for the next sunrise...

Without the anchor in your life,
you drift
missing the warm voice,
the gentle support,
the life that ought to have been lived.

The silver wolf

Let the boys have their fleeting games,This wolf has a fire that no one tames.Sixty looks dangerous, steady, and sleek,An experienced alpha that makes me weak. You aren't mine yet, but the trap is set,The sharpest hunter I haven't caught yet.I want the silver, the shadow, the chase Let's see how a seasoned wolf sets the pace.

Shout For Belief (Protest)

Wide awake in my living space

Thinking to myself, "If I could change the world ", I'd take away all the pain

Replace people's memories with good ones.

Put on the flames set off by the weapons with ounces of rain.

Heal the people of the damage and bloodstains so they can feel whole again.

I'm no god, but I believe that I came from above to spread my humility and empathy.

Why can't these corrupt leaders see that there's everyone in you and me?

Can you hear me?

Can you understand me?

Summer Heat 2 (a second impression of the 2013 film Hawaii)

Through the smearing lens into opaque walls

A smell ripens on the bed golden

A back laid beyond rotting moss shades

A rusty fence away between gens and astray

Your struggle to keep things light

My starless thoughts misaligned that night

On your lips reborn my silver bombilla

Catch his tales forlorn if you have the radar

The sweats you pay enrich the soil of May

In the month of May, only in the month of May

The germs are gonna unionize to a lei

Herein this shimmery pool there's a coolness

A Dream By The Bipolar Mind

Night after night, I have this dream
There is something there, something unseen
It’s there with me in the room, it’s there in the dark
When all of a sudden Poof there goes a big spark

I want to run, but I can’t get away
Is there something holding me wanting me to stay?
But it’s as if my feet are glued to the ground
I try to scream, but can’t make a sound

My heart begins to beat fast faster beat after beat
Trembling in fear, at what I might meet
What’s lurking in the shadows lurking with me?
When all of a sudden boom a noise, I can’t see

The Dude

I am The Dude,
self-ascribed titan of nothing,
king of no kingdom
except the beautifully ungoverned republic
of right now.

Living life in the moment,
though calendars pretend to matter.
I plan just enough
to give spontaneity something to overthrow.

Bad ass of kindness,
mercenary of mischief,
dealer of absurd observations
and soul hugs disguised as sarcasm.

State Of The World

What is with the state of the world, baby

What's going on out there could happen to anybody

Can we have peace instead of bodies piled up

One side of the world deals with bloodshed, while the other deals with protests

God will always test our freedom.

We are not done until we say we are

No matter how many missiles rain from the stars

No matter how many scars we have to endure to keep our land free

One day, we'll wake up, and the world shall give us another chance to write a story

Pluto

In the outer region

of our star system, resplendent,

this regal disc shows off her beautiful palette.

A blue expanse partly shrouded under a swirl

of sprayed sand. Wide at the top, narrowing into a

channel before curving softly to the left. Here,

dipping its toe and heel into the partial

whiteness, as their mutual edges meet.

Pitted and pinched, they mirror

each others profiles.

Like a bears paw,

an ivory swathe slopes gently

Chosen

Nobody cares if I’m alive or dead,
These are the words that play in my head.

I'm never chosen, I don't take up space,
Yes, I am breathing, but I don't have a place,
where I fit, a place I can thrive,
a space that feels safe... to feel truly alive.

The sun will rise, and tomorrow again,
I'm still alone, and still wondering when...

will I.... be chosen?
