Green to me is;
It comes slowly.
The red flags, the warning signs.
Too easily ignored at first.
You made it so far.
Why should you ever expect life to take such a turn?
So you keep thinking that you still have time.
To mend the broken pieces.
To make amends.
Because, for sure, there are better days yet to come.
Days of strength, days of joy, days of success.
Then, you will find your path again.
For sure.
And, finally, you will have the courage to repent.
To atone.
To move again. Ahead.
A man who carries a boulder on his shoulder
his naked necrotic stature
trembling amongst a long stretch of road
stretching between
two differing valleys of reflection.
Purposely portraying
realities wrapped in decorative ribbons
of decisive deceit
wildly professing the cemented path
pathed before his noble feet.
You should live life, even if your seventy or your five,do fun and feel the joy, life is yours so enjoy. . In life you have sacrifices, but you should feel the sun's rises, feel the moon's light, one day everything will be alright. .
I could have lit the match
more times than I would like to admit-
watched the timbers catch,
felt the heat of righteous endings
curl against my skin.
But something caught me-
some soft-spoken voice
kept choosing hope over flame,
kept laying down planks
where anger begged for ash.
These bridges I didn't burn
have carried me farther
than pride or anger ever could.
The following poem inspired by
a book titled The Hidden Life of Trees:
What They Feel, How They Communicate
by Peter Wohlleben.
Warrior Woman
statuesque and divine
dignified in her fight
She’s no stranger to battle
claimed rivals far and wide
Seeking reclamation
an overseer of the land
A fiery fierceness that
resides in her eyes
reminds others that
she’s weathered a storm
faced chaos and cruelty
with unwavering might
Hello again
My dear father
It is nice to see you again
Here on earth
Waken us up
Early first thing in the morning
Also first thing in the morning
You let the sun rise
And also warming up the earth
Because before dawn
The earth was cold
It was only 15 degrees
During the dawn
We are still sleeping
In our cozy beds
We get up at 10 am
Every morning
I wasn't searching anymore
when the light finally touched me-
soft, unhurried,
like it already knew my name.
No grand revelation,
no thunder in the sky-
just the quiet certainty
that I wasn't lost after all.
Sometimes being found
is simply this:
a moment that stays
a breath that steadies,
a truth that rises
right where you stand.
Yep, and even though we age,
we are still the young of heart.
My heart no longer fills with rage,
that I cannot do my part.
For I've a store of memories,
built to last the winter long.
So I'll swill a swig, a good little pig,
and fill my throat with song.
I will herald the son of Summer,
drink his heady wine,
eat sunshine in the dawn,
smell flowers on the vine.
My days are filled with joy, not money
I do not want for much;
mayhap, a little honey?
You know, you need some touch.
